Happy Birthday my sweet baby girl. I Love and miss you so very much. On November 2nd I went to a dinner in honor of you. I was the guest speaker for Donate Life and The Florida Lions Eye Bank. I took Myles and Reece to my speaking engagement for the first time in 5 years. They were both crying and I was so touched by the emotion they felt. They heard your story and the things we faced together while you fought for life and I prayed for it. We also met a wonderful young man with a story of hope. He was 14 and a liver recipient like our Louis in Gulfport MS. He had a beautiful story of survival. His dad said that he felt guilty about his transplant because someone died. I told him that if we as organ donors could give him just one day, just one, that the decision was worth it. To never feel guilty and to know he is here for a reason. He friended me on Facebook. Another couple had a son who received a heart transplant as an infant and died at 23 just recently. What an amazing story. We lit candles in honor of you and all of the loved ones we have lost who gave. I know your Birthday was the 3rd and I have not been on here in a bit. I have had hundreds of people comment on facebook. It has become my blog too. I just know you are my angel. I love and miss you every day of my life. Keep a cloud warm for me until I see you there.
love mom.

Joe's getting Married!
Dear Brande, We all know that making changes is tough. When I moved here I needed to heal. I passed my Real Estate exam for the state of Florida and had my angel with me all of the way. Thank you Brande. I thought that my depression from past affairs would also heal, but that has not happened. I know it will take time and that the boys and I have family and you (our angel) out there. I spent over an hour on the phone with your heart recipient this past week. It is just so funny when she calls and says. You have been on my mind and in my heart. (Your heart little one). Your little brothers are growing up fast. Reece is so smart. He has letters from senators telling him how smart he is. Myles is smart too, he would just rather play. He has to make A's & B's. They are very loving to me and I think of you often holding them when they were just babies. On the up side, Joe, your favorite cousin, is getting married in December. He has a beautiful fiancee and I know you would be proud of him. You would definitely be in the wedding. Of course you will be there. I will take you with me and set a little part of you free in Boston. Our hearts are healing and our love for you is everywhere we go. I am just so happy to have My Angel and My God looking out for me. It started raining when I started writing. Thank you for the tears from heaven. I love and miss you my sweet baby girl. We all do. Love MOM

Happy Thanksgiving 2013
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. I feel very blessed this year. We have a new home and will spend Christmas at home for the first time since Brande Left us. The boys are doing really well in school and the transition to their new schools has been positive. I can't believe how much better I feel seeing the ocean instead of the hospital only 1/2 mile from our old home in Shreveport where Brande left us. I really love our new home, the people and the sunsets most of all.
I received a call from Barbara Larson, Brande's Heart Recipient on Brande's Birthday Nov, 3. She is doing well but it is very cold in Wisconsin. I told her to let me know when she is ready to fly to FL. I hope it is soon. I cannot wait to see her. She is still working to hard, running too fast and volunteering at the school teaching little ones to read. I just love her so much.
Louis Smith, Brande's Liver Recipient is still living in Gulf Port MS and doing very well. He has a new grand baby boy on the way. He just had a birthday and is doing well. I hope he will come see us. We might just make a trip that way in a month or two. Hate to mess up these guys hunting and fishing schedules.
My mom and dad are doing fine in TX. I will miss them for Thanksgiving this year, but the boys really want to spend the holidays off the road. We will be going to Glenda's for Lunch on Thanksgiving and will be home for Christmas. I just made a trip to Tyler last week and loved to see my parents.
As for Rolex and Jazzy, Jasmine's Valentine kiss, Brande's little dog passed away on Nov 17th, 2013. We buried her in our new yard next to a tree we planted for Brande. The boys were away spending the night and when they came home our son Reece dug her up and made us all cry again. He said he had to say goodbye. He wrote a note and had us all sign it, put it under her collar and we buried her again. It is really hard to loose the things that keep us connected to our loved ones. This is why I love having my daughters recipients in contact. It gives me an unbelievable comfort knowing that they carry a part of her with them.
New, news, I am now a Realtor with RMI Realtors at the Pensacola Beach Office in in FL. I Received my license in Sept and have made two sales so far. I am excited about my future here and the staff could not be better. These are the things I am thankful for this year. Love Sherry

Amy Moody again!
So now she is in Jail. I called and spoke to her dead mother. She was in tears as I explained what Amy had done to me and my family. After Amy was gone the boys told me that she threatened them and they were afraid to tell me. I also spoke to Regina Robers who is the grandmother of Amy's son that she never told me she had. I truly hope that they keep her out of the public. She is a very disturbed young woman and needs mental help. I am just grateful that she did not hurt my boys and that I am not in jail, because if she had I would be. I guess that is why she was on welfare. She must have told them that she had a son. Anyway, please pray for her family. The son she does not claim needs a great deal of prayer with a parent who could be a harm to him. If she would lie to and threaten my children, not tell me she has one, tell me her parents are dead I fear what she might do to her own.

Little Things
AMY RENE MOODY
I have experienced on of the most frightening and sad encounters of my life. When I met Amy Moody she was sad from loosing a recent job and from loosing her parents in an auto accident. They were returning from a cruise to the Bahama's and had a wreck and died coming home from the Ship. She told me that she was a Dr. That she had a degree as a chiropractor and was working out of her small condo to make ends meet. She told me that her sister was a drug addict and that Amy had to raise her sisters children while she was in jail. She explained that when the sister was released that the children called Amy mom and the sister never spoke to her again. She told me she was hungry and had no money to spare. I took her to pay her electric bill and helped her find a job at a chiropractic clinic. Bought her flowers on her first day fed her breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Convinced her to date and checked on her because she was scared with no mom to check on her
She let me to believe that she was the same age as Brande Nicole Denson, the daughter I lost 4 years ago due to an accident. She even started crying one day when I wore a Nassau shirt I picked up on a cruise with a company I work with. She began to cry because her parents were in Nassau the last time they were alive. She told me not to talk to her neighbor because the young woman was Bi Polar, and was seeing a psychiatrist twice a week. Amy and the young woman's family feared that she would hurt or kill her children and Amy was watching them closely. I went by the woman's condo and she came out to say hello but I avoided her.
AFTER LOOSING HER JOB IN ONE WEEK. Amy told me on many nights that she was fine and alone getting some rest when I checked on her, but the next morning she was leaving with a young man in her car and a few nights he was addressed by people watching over their children and told us that he was up visiting Amy Moody. After one week at the new job Amy Moody was fired. I told her she did not have to tell me lies about the young man in her apt. I was just worried about her and she was a grown woman. She DISAPPEARED two days later and wold not speak to me afterwards. Three days later she arrived in the middle of the night to move her things and not speak to anyone. She had a key to my condo, SHE STOLE CLOTHING, MONEY AND OVER $175,00 IN FACIAL PRODUCTS FROM ME.
She also ask two other middle aged women if she could call them mom, Stole over $400.00 from one purse at a church from what I have been told and has access to more than one home.
She was doing chiropractic services out of her condo charging anywhere from $25-$50.00 an adjustment. She flashed some type of diploma at me and of course I believed that she was licensed. I later found that she screamed at my son when he made a joke using the line" Yo Mama! My older son said he was afraid to tell me when she was around because she was really mean to his younger brother. Screaming at him because her mother was presumably dead. This turned my stomach. I explained to her before this ever happened how hard it has been for me and my boys since they lost their sister. My youngest suffered so badly and moving here was our new beginning. For her to make him feel so bad about a mother she never lost made me want to slap her. I probably would if I see her again. I was told that she was ENGAGED TO A PILOT FROM THE AFB. That he beat her and caused her to have a MISCARRIAGE. I just want anyone who lives in Pensacola Florida or Lexington Tennessee to be aware of her and her sickness. She is a very beautiful girl, 5'9, long hair, very smart and manipulative. She will lie to get anything she can from you and your family. DO NOT TRUST THIS YOUNG WOMAN.

Keeping in touch
I have been working with The North West Louisiana Lions Eye Bank as the Community Educator this year. It has been a great experience for me. I have managed to get into the community and sign people up as Organ Eye & Tissue donors and have learned so much about Corneal Transplants.
I have spent many hours on the phone with Brande's Heart Recipient and I miss her very much. I hate that she is so far away in Wisconsin, but it is so great for me to know that she is doing great.
Her sister Marianne made me a beautiful scarf for Christmas and I just love their whole family so much. We went to visit this past summer of 2012. The boys had a great time and so did I.

More on Brande's mission

Wow, Febuary is a big month for us. We had a great turnout at First United Methodist Church in Shreveport where we are now members. The kids absolutly love the program and have lots of friends there. Brande & I (because she is with me when I speak) spoke about her death and her giving life to those in need of organ transplants. It was very emotional for me, but God and my angel give me the strenght to do what I need to make people aware of the importance of organ donation. Everyone in the class was very supportive of the presentation and the fact that without faith we have nothing. Focus not on what you have lost, but on what you have left. Go Brande!
Next: I sent valentines to my mom in Tyler TX and our Heart Recipient Barbara in Phelps WI and transposed the address's. Silly me, anyway, getting there quite late Barbara calls me to thank me and says. " I got the valentine and the sexy pink and black socks. Where do you suppose a 67 year old woman would wear them? I told her Brande would love them and she could wear them with jeans just about anywhere. We laughed. She told me she had meant to call sooner and I told her the timing could not have been better because it was my birhtday when she called and that made my day. Then she told me that just that morning she said to her hubby. I wonder when Sherry's birthday is?. How funny is that! How wonderful that she called on my birthday. I just love that girl.
Next: I went to the DMV with Sheron Raymond from LOPA and we set up Brande's recipients photos, The lady from LA.Legacy came in wiht a huge cake and drinks and the floragraph that rode the rose parade float. What a great experience for me. The people were very kind and managed to visit what little they could between desks. I think it was a very postitive experience for all of us. Thanks LOPA and the DMV.

Brande's heart recipient's surgery

Barbara Larson, Brande's heart recipient fell and shattered her shoulder this past month. She was taken to Madison to have her shoulder operated on. She is back home now and doing well. I talked to her the other day and she swears Brande and her angels were right there with her the whole time. That they picked her up off of the basement floor and helped carry her up a flight and a half of stairs to the phone where she called 911 before lying down until the ambulance arrived. She could not get up after that and they said that there was no way she should have made it up those stairs with her shoulder shattered and a bad hip which she had planned to have replaced this winter. Wow. I am so glad she is okay. I adore her and her family. They mean quite a bit to me.
On the update of my book. I have just about finished it and I am nearly ready for my copywright and print. I am very excited to have one finished and the other nearly done. I just have to have a little illistation and some touch up work now. So excited. I am certainly working on Sherry now. Making my life what it needs to be and giving back to so many who have given their time, money, love, support, ears, eyes, and thoughts to me and my mission. I love you all... thanks

PHELPS - It's a journey that's taken nearly 15 months and 1000 miles, but this weekend one Northwoods woman meets the family of a 19-year-old girl who saved her life.
Barbara says,"She's saying I love you mom."
Sherry Denson Sellers is hearing her daughters heart beat once again.
She says, "I can hear it."
A heart that saved Barbara Larsen's life.
Sherry says, "That's amazing. Thank you."
The two women met face to face for the first time this weekend.
Sherry says, "It's like I've known her my whole life, I mean it's unbelievable that I just feel so comfortable sitting right here next to her."
Barbara adds, "It was comfortable when I hugged her."
A hug that's possible thanks to organ donation. Sherry's 19-year-old daughter Brande died April 22nd, 2009 from injuries in a car accident in Lousiana. But as Brande left her family, she gave new life to seven people.
Sherry says, "My child has done more in death than I ever will in my life and that to me is unbelieveable."
Barbara needed a new heart after suffering a heart attack. She waited for nearly a year, trying an experimental machine to keep her alive. And on April 23rd, 2009 she got the call.
Barbara says, "They had a heart for me. They had to get me to Eagle River real fast, onto an airplane down to Madison, which an ambulance then took me to the hospital and that night after midnight they put my heart in."
Sherry adds, "I knew from the moment my daughter went to heaven, I would meet her."
But the meeting almost didn't happen.
Barbara says, "I was so worried what is this mother going to think with her daughter's 20-year-old heart in my body."
Sherry says, "She said I was scared because of my age and I said I don't care if you're 102, if your heart's beating, I am so happy."
A happiness that's also shared by Barbara's son.
Brian Musial says, "I cannot thank them enough for how much they've helped her and I would ask everybody, for Brande, to sign the back of your license and become an organ donor."
One heart, bringing two families together.
Both Sherry and Barbara are now both involved in promoting organ donation.
Sherry says one organ donor can save up to 50 lives.
